Frequently Asked Questions
- What does it cost the city?
- The heart route is free for citizens (€4.99 for the GPX file). For local authorities we offer three formats: (1) Free, the city shares the free link without specific branding, (2) Signed "City of…", custom branding on activity titles and Pinterest posters, on quote, (3) Custom annual programme (wellness, sports legacy, events) with editorial support and reporting.
- Is it compatible with our wellness programmes?
- Yes. The heart route adapts perfectly to prescribed physical activity. Distance from 3 to 15 km, limited elevation on walking profiles, and the option to dedicate the route to a prevention campaign. Tracked by GPs / APA practitioners via Strava or Garmin Connect.
- Does this count for sports innovation labels (Terre de Jeux, quatre lauriers)?
- Yes. Sport-policy innovation labels reward initiatives that cross sport, nature, mobility, tourism, and health. A signed heart-route programme ticks "innovation" and "transversality" on several dimensions.
- Are you listed on Vivez Sport / DATAtourisme?
- We are actively working to integrate CityHeart offers into the open-data DATAtourisme flow via partner tourism offices. If your office is referenced on DATAtourisme, we can co-publish "City of…" signed routes within days.
- How do you keep the content fresh?
- Routes are generated on demand from OpenStreetMap, updated daily. If a street is pedestrianised, the route adapts. No frozen PDF that goes stale.
- How do I contact you?
- Email hello@cityheart.run with "City" in the subject line, the name of your city, and the project. Response within 24 hours. For press / elected-official requests, add "Press" in cc.
